In order to guarantee our high standard of quality, now and in the future, perFact is extremely selective when hiring staff. PerFact is presently managed by two professionals, who both are among the best in their respective specialities: Roel Baardman and Hugo Kornelis.

Roel Baardman

Roel Baardman's involvement in modern technology dates to the early 1980s and the pioneer phase of implementation and the use of code generators. Subsequently, he designed, established, and managed newly flexible and adaptive IT systems for a variety of enterprises ranging from a leading cocoa processor to the 50-office Netherlands division of an international accountancy firm.

Prior to joining Hugo Kornelis as co-founder of perFact, he also served as managing director of an IT consultancy firm and as the chairman of an examination board at the EXIN, where he played a key role in developing the exacting Universal Information Science specialisation standards.

He is currently personally managing a number of perFact undertakings, including a major project at a large Dutch semi-governmental institution.

Hugo Kornelis

Hugo Kornelis has been engaged in almost all aspects of the ICT industry over more than two decades, focusing especially on analysis, design, programming, optimisation, and rescue and replacement of poorly conceived, dysfunctional "legacy" systems. Among the recipients of his skills have been a laboratory network, two large banks, and a medium-level insurer.

In the years immediately prior to joining Roel Baardman in forming perFact, he redesigned the financial information systems of a large Dutch government agency and served as senior information analyst of a consultancy firm, as well as teaching classes in his field.

In recognition of outstanding expertise in the SQL Server field and his commitment to advising the SQL Server users community, he received the coveted Microsoft® MVP award in January 2006. He is also a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist; his area of certification is SQL Server 2005.
